Requiring no introduction, the class leading 5 series is a superb blend of quality
engineering, styling, build quality and performance. Firmly lasting the test of time
the E39 5 series remains today still a wonderful driving car. Nothing drives like
a 5 series, the balancing of all the major controls is something Bmw do better than
anyone else, more years of development went into testing this model than any other
since.

This has been a cherished car, yes you will buy a newer one or one with bigger wheels
that has been cruising about town centre's with music & smoke pouring out of it,
however you cannot put a price on proper planned maintenance and a clear interest
in keeping a vehicle as clean and waxed as is possible, I barely had to even run
a cloth over this one, no intensive Auto Glym process, it was all done for me,
the interior & exterior are superbly clean and protected. The boot is immaculate
with loading straps. I have had a right good drive in it and performs majestically
with a tight feel to engine and gear change, suspension is lovely, really absorbed
and well dampened, brakes good, no mechanical issues at all. The standard original
16 " cast rims now look rather welcoming with superior ride comfort over the large
rims that are not everything they are cut out to be, personally I take ride over
and above everything else, and not sore to replace meaning you can always buy
the best tyres.
