A Sports GT that requires no introduction, and arguably the best GT car
to roll out of Stuttgart for many reasons, its not so much a car as more a system,
the GT is for many the finest interpretation of the 928 theme and a car of truly
towering abilities and very few limitations. This particular model kept in this
fastidious order equates to one of the finest driving experiences possible, the GT
is an unforgettable Porsche variant and moving forward one of the most collectible
today, this is truly a vehicle that one must create opportunities to use, and a 928
loves to be used, real credit goes to its most recent owner.

The service records are very comprehensive, this cars has been a proper Porsche
enthusiast's obsession for the last 5 years, it has been lavished with attention and
a money no obstacle attitude. The history is vast and covers many aspects of 928
ownership with a thick binder full of bills crucially of late of which a brief
summary is below. The Porsche service booklet is well stamped up with the car
being serviced at only the best of specialists and in the last few years exclusively
serviced at Glasgow Porsche who know the car very well. Only ever OEM parts used
it has been serviced on a time based basis and on the button with many tired and
worn buttons clips seals fasteners strips and moldings being replaced slowly
but surely through the official dealer network at a very high cost and a lot
of effort. Visited Glasgow Porsche dealer on the 4th of April this year for its
annual service.

Over and above the routine servicing and replacing of fluids below is a summary
of some of the more major jobs undertaken.

- Gearbox rebuilt (last 500 miles) Complete new Synchro Gear Ring Set
- Complete Pagid Brake disc Overhaul ( Discs pads & wires front to rear)
- RPM Fitted a new cam belt & water pump, new tensioner, pulley idlers
water pump gasket, front bonnet struts (pair)
- All Aux Belts
- Genuine high capacity Bosch car battery
- New Engine air intakes
- New bonnet release cup handle & cover

The engine and gearbox are utterly fantastic, the motor is sparking breathing and
fuelling superbly with excellent oil pressure cold through hot. The motor produced
a highly impressive 356.6 bhp in its last dyno run to many surprised testers, a 24
year old engine with a mileage on it that has hardly broken a sweat, it was
rumoured that many of the GT engines did push out more than the 330 bhp stock
figure quoted, this is with no modifications other than a better exhaust system
to bring the V8 to life and running on 99 ron unleaded. The dog leg racing manual
gearbox brings the big motor into play, slotting and slurring through the box is a
delight of its own and places the driver firmly in command of the mighty V8 with
soundtrack, its a truly awesome weapon with huge engine torque reserves. The
new brakes and massive calliper's pull the weight up very quickly, no outstanding
matters or weak components, its all systems go.

Other Information
Available with all the original documentation plus the genuine Red spare wheel
with plastic over cover in the boot alongside a complete toolkit. Also in
the load is the genuine large Porsche compressor, a fire extinguisher and first
aid kit all intact. I have just had the windscreen replaced and the alloys
pro refurbed. The alloys are the correct designated Forged D90 rim specific
to the 91 GT car, not to be confused with just any D90s, these are the correct
offset of 9 & 52 rear and 7 & 65 front. Wearing matching Continental Sport
Contact tyres to exact Porsche specification. A full laser track has been done
recently and as a result the car is beautifully poised. Within the file is the
essential Certificate Of Authenticity from Porsche GB listing the vehicles
original specification, this a matching numbers vehicle with original engine
chassis and gearbox, it has never been meddled with and never been crashed,
it is 100 % hpi clear with no adverse info ever applied. This GT is registered
with Porsche GB.
