The GT Masterpiece
A Sports GT that requires no introduction, and arguably the best GT car
to roll out of Stuttgart for many reasons, for many the finest
interpretation of the 928 theme and a car of truly towering abilities
and very few limitations. This specific car is now hugely desirable,
the 4.7 S with dogleg manual gearbox is an unforgettable model and
moving forward one of the more collectible. The 4.7 eight
cylinder is a fantastic unit developing a considerable 300 bhp however
it is well known and documented that these units were actually pushing
out closer to 330 bhp. The manual box brings the car to life,
allowing the big engine to breathe, slotting through the gears offers
a whole new dimension to driving, its a genuine muscle car experience
and remains special every time you turn the key.
The S for me personally is the best compromise between the early and
later cars. It's also the best looking of the 928 range in my view,
with more aggression than the early 928 but less bloated than the
S4 and GT. Also the engine is slightly less complex in maintenance
terms, which is a major plus, this in manual guise is the sweet spot,
the manual experience is a world apart from the auto.

Available with lots of original documentation plus the genuine spare
wheel with plastic over cover in the boot alongside a complete toolkit.
The alloys are the correct designated rim specific to the car.

Summary
Perfect as an addition to a classic collection or for the weekend getaway
drive, this sharp S delivers a unique Porsche driving and
ownership experience. The condition is that of an unmolested car which
is a rare 928 thing, to say this one is beautiful would be a very obvious
statement, its seeking the right owner with the maturity to continue
looking after it properly, its a piece of history.
