92,000 Miles - 1 Owner
Beautiful & Irreplaceable

First registered on 1st January 1985 by Swinford Porsche of Stourbidge
in the West Midlands as one of the dealership demonstrators, most likely
belonging to senior mgt. At five months old it was sold to a Mr Smith
Managing Director of a successful business, a man in his fifties and
lifelong Porsche enthusiast he used his S2 regular and cherished
it ever since being in his possession that whole time. Come 2007 ill health
prevented any further use at which point it was carefully looked after by
his son with minimal use though proper care. Now for the very first time
in its 33 year history is offered to the market, remarkably original and
unspoiled the likes of which many of us will never see again, a true time
warp machine. Details such as original supplied reg number B928 NNX remain

not impossible to replicate.

The GT Masterpiece
A Sports GT that requires no introduction, and arguably the best GT car
to roll out of Stuttgart for many reasons, for many the finest
interpretation of the 928 theme and a car of truly towering abilities
and very few limitations. This specific car is now hugely desirable,
the 4.7 S2 with dogleg manual gearbox is an unforgettable model and
moving forward one of the more collectible. For this model year the
gearbox synchromesh was changed to Borg Warner design with a shorter
gear lever, improving drive ability on manual shifting. As such this
is truly a 928 one must create opportunities to use, The 4.7 eight
cylinder is a fantastic unit developing a considerable 310 bhp however
it is well known and documented that these units were actually pushing
out closer to 330 bhp. The manual box brings the car to life,
allowing the big engine to breathe, slurring through the gears offers
a whole new dimension to driving, its a genuine muscle car experience
and remains special every time you turn the key.
The S2 for me personally is the best compromise between the early and
later cars. It's also the best looking of the 928 range in my view,
with more aggression than the early 928 but less bloated than the
S4 and GT. Also the engine is slightly less complex in maintenance
terms, which is a major plus, this in manual guise is the sweet spot,
the manual experience is a world apart from the auto.

Available with lots of original documentation plus the genuine spare
wheel with plastic over cover in the boot alongside a complete toolkit.
The alloys are the correct designated rim specific to the car. I have
just fitted and balanced a new matching set of Vredstein performance
tyres and had a 4 wheel alignment carried out. This car rides and
handles incredibly.

Summary
Perfect as an addition to a classic collection or for the weekend getaway
drive, this impeccable S2 delivers a unique Porsche driving and
ownership experience. The condition is that of an unmolested car which
is a rare 928 thing, to ay this one is beautiful would be a very obvious
statement, its seeking the right owner with the maturity to continue
looking after it properly, its a piece of history.
