1986 Porsche 928 S2.5 108,000 Miles Magazine Featured Showcar Full Service History & File Meteor Gray L961 / Black £8500 Recent Expenditure Inc' Belts 928.2 Number Plate Sometimes referred to as an S2.5, one of the last of the S2 cars that features S4 brakes, suspension, seats and door crash beams whilst maintaining the purity of the early look. As one of the last early 928s (pre-S4) this car weighs only 1460kg (as much as a 997C4 or 991C4 - and 160kg less than a 928GTS) and whilst it is a much larger car than the contemporary 911, it has arguably the best of the 928 engines in the 310 bhp eight cylinder motor. With a transaxle layout and a dedicated aluminium V8 set well back in the engine bay it has 50:50 weight distribution - this was a true clean sheet design and a true sports car. Magazine Featured Showcar Ultimate Porsche August 2018 Condition To be found in really rather good condition showing very little of an age associated patina that you may expect of a 30+ year old car, it defies it's age in many respects testament to the low mileage, which works out at an average of 3,300 per year - and these will be fair weather miles too. Bodywork is nice and straight with lovely bright paintwork, walking around it there is very little to be critcal about and much to praise. Even the cabin shows little wear with stunning leather chairs piped in grey and deep fluffy carpets. Nothing appears worn or abused, this is a nice car! Wheels Lovely set of 17" Cup II rims suit this model so well and in very good order. Colour crested centres are as new as are the correct lightweight black wheel bolts. Tyres are a matching set of Toyo Proxes and are nealry new. Look inside to see new brake discs and pads with lovely red brake calipers. The window to any used car's life is the condition of the wheels/tyres/brakes, this car excels. Service Service booklet is present with 17 stamps.
