First pre delivery inspected and registered by Porsche Cambridge on the
3rd April 1992 making this amongst the very last of the model. The V5 shows
8 owners which is lowish for a 944 and this is a matching numbers car with
all original factory panels and no accident damage. Highly original example
with the temptation to alter anything being resisted over the years, this
coupled with long term ownership and comprehensive dealer servicing adds
up to a car with a wonderful story.

1992 model year making it the last of the line amongst the very last of
the S2 cars made. This car was in the long term ownership of 20 + years
to a local Doctor. He purchased it from Glenvarigill Porsche when only
4 years old as his high days and holidays sports coupe. The paint is
gleaming, having been regularly waxed and stored throughout the winter
months being used mainly in summer. Its a genuine clean well cared for
S2.

As can be gleaned from the many service history images, the beauty of the
history lies in that it be entirely official Porsche dealer servicing, which,
is now a rarity. The car still bears the dealer transfer on the rear screen
from that time, and, this theme is extended throughout the car with all
original labels, lights, seat panels, dash, headlining and door cards etc
etc, right down to the original supplied Blaupunkt head unit.

The most recent visit to Porsche included a full overhaul of the gearing
for the sunroof with new gears and fixings, so it works perfectly.
Also many sensors and speed sensors for the braking system were replaced
at a cost of £1300.

Condition
The engine and gearbox are utterly fantastic, the motor is sparking
breathing and fueling superbly with excellent oil pressure cold through
hot. It presents remarkably well with beautiful unmarked dashboard,
door cards, seats and carpets. The steering wheel is stunning with
perfect finish and stitching, as is the gear shifter, the condition is
truly remarkable in places. Peel back the veneer and peer further at
the sills and underside and it reveals a solid car with replacement sills
a few years ago. Equally, the boot and engine bay display an original car
that has clearly never been altered or bumped with factory seams in
place.

wheel alongside a complete toolkit. Numerous sets of keys together
with the Porsche leather owners wallet and drivers handbook.

Vehicle Summary
This 944 S2 is a pleasure to own, as it has been routinely maintained with
any worn/perished parts replaced with genuine parts so it has not been
blunted by time. The paint is not faded, its sharp, and its in the details
that only some of the images will convey, that set this one firmly ahead
of the tired and worn commonplace examples. A model that continues to
appreciate, we feel that this later than late example with complete service
history and sensible mileage is a great classic investment.
