Glenvarigill Porsche

Immaculate Porsche 911 (996) Carrera 2 Coupe finished in wonderful rare colour Zenith blue metallic. First registered new by Glenvarigill Porsche on the 1st August 1998 and it looks more or less exactly the same today, unmarked. A well sorted 996 that's had all the usual jobs done including the IMS and RMS, it's had all the immediate maintenance done including brakes, tyres and servicing and all the cosmetics are at 100% with fresh paint and refurbished wheels. A complete package with a large presentation file of history, the owners pack and service booklet and all the old MoT's and receipts for historic works.

Condition

The paint is beautiful, it had an expensive, quality full respray last year and it's done very little miles since so it's unmarked with a wonderful glossy finish that you can see your reflection in. No orange peel or flat spots, it's just like a factory finish. This means there is zero rust and the wheel arches and sills are perfect. It's super clean, detailed and stored in a garage.

Cabin

Graphite grey leather is superb order with nice clean carpets and no wear on the driving controls. All is fresh, everything is in working order and nothing is broken or showing signs of wear. Electric heated seats, memory for the driver, nice graphite grey instrument dials, everything is wonderfully clean even including the pedals. It does have a set of floor mats, not pictured.

Service & maintenance

Large file of service history accompanies the car including all the receipts for the works noted below and all the old MoT's and literature from Porsche when it was new. A complete pack of everything you want to see when you buy a quality used Porsche. Notably, the IMS and RMS have been done on this car and all the usual 996 jobs have been done too, all noted below.

It drives very well and there are no outstanding works to do that I'm aware of. The engine does not smoke or rattle and it fires on all cylinders. It's got a Eurocup GT stainless exhaust with 200 cell cats which is rather loud but it sounds fantastic in my opinion.

Wheels & tyres

Excellent. BBS Sport Classic II, two piece split rim alloys specified from the factory when new presented in 100% condition. These are hands down the very best wheel option for a 996 Carrera with no argument. Worth around £2500 alone in this condition with tyres. The wheels are in perfect clean unmarked condition with new chrome wheel bolts and new gold crested centre caps, peer inside and there are new brake discs, a wonderful sight. Fitted with 4x Toyo Proxes tyres, rears 285/30/18 have around 100 miles on them, fronts are 225/40/18 and have good deep treads. Each wheel has a 20mm spacer which gives the car a lovely stance.
