Carrera 4S
In the real world the C4S is all the 911 anyone will ever need
and is much sought after by enthusiasts, in setting other
exotics aside it can also be argued the most enjoyable car of
the 996 series. The C4S is also among the few select Porsche
models appreciating steadily, however that value is often
diminished on a car whose maintenance has been less than
thorough. To that end the advice is to always buy on condition
and history. We're delighted to present a well maintained well
specified car that is ready for its next owner, buy a good one
now while they are still affordable.
Condition
Black with black is very popular, at it's best shined up though
it does show marks when there are any. This looks to be all
original paint and it's done 100k miles so it has the stone
chips and storage marks of well enjoyed car, there are a few
marks around the body and minor bubbling inside a couple of
wheel arches. The cabin is clean and the leather is in good
order, some scuffs of the plastics. The radio does not seem to
power up. All is in working order and there are no warning
lights on the dash.
Service
Good money has been spent ensuring top performance is on tap.
There are receipts and mots dating back all chronologically
logged in date order, impressive stuff and as such the vehicle
is not only wholly transparent, it is ready to enjoy. Opposite
is a brief summary of some of the more recent major jobs
undertaken. The all important IMS bearing has been done by the
current keeper, future proofed and recently serviced too.
Maintained and serviced by Autobhantechnik Glasgow for the last
6 years.
Wheels & Tyres
X50 alloys in gold finish with Falken rubber all round. The
wheels are unmarked and in superb order and the tyres have good
deep treads. A look inside reveals a shiny new brake disc and
fresh looking red calipars. Lovely.
