The following day, he drove it back and registered it here in the UK. Everything is well documented.. the order forms, original bill of Sale DM145,000, German documents and forms and even Mr Hagen's ferry & fuel receipts have been preserved. It has never been painted, not many cars can claim that. This is pure factory Porsche, an immaculate low miles low owner original car in all respects with great provenance/. The coachwork is superb with minimal marks & little in any way that belies it's age, very little to disappoint and it will surely look good in any stable. Everything in excellent working order as Porsche intended. Having covered less than a mere 4300 miles per year as an average the engine is in sound order with superb power. The cabin shows little wear on any items. 6 keys accompany, 2 sets of 2 remote keys and 2 valet keys.. 2 of these keys have never been used. Pure Porsche in nice clean low mileage order. There are many images below showing close ups of the paint finish around all the rubbers and door handles shut lines and trim to cleary show the original paint finish. I can say with confidence this car has never been painted. Drive/Tyres/Alloys This 996 handles beautifully with perfect driving dynamics and rock solid stability thanks to the amazing rare options list and the correct set up being used. Tyres all have deep treads and the rims are largely unmarked. A look inside the wheels reveals recent brakes on each corner and nicely finished calipers. The drive is really something special, this is a very tight car it feels like it's months old. Not a sound from any suspension components even on the most cobbled road. The gearbox is amongst the best Tip' boxes I have used in a 996, it's very flexible and youthful, astonishing and perfect, we cannot fault this car in the slightest. Summary Quite a find and a very rare optioned car. The early drive-by-wire 3.4 cars are becoming highly collectable, a low mileage and low owner car with good spec is a sound investment and it just happens to be extremely good fun too. Condition is as good as you could hope to find and the service history is beyond impeccable. It has perhaps the best history and provenance on the market today.
