First registered and pre delivery inspected by Porsche Centre East London on
23.03.04 and maintained by them for the first 4 years whereupon it moved across
to recognized Porsche specialists. This is a matching numbers car with all
original factory panels and glossy paint. The engine and gearbox are matching
as manufactured and nothing has been changed. Free from any adverse Hpi data wiith
no recorded accidents throughout its life. Included in the thick file of paperwork
is the original bill of sale detailing all the options with an on the road price
of £70,995.

In what is arguably the most desirable combination of spec with some tasteful factory
extras that set it all off - perhaps the best colour for a C4S accentuating the lines
and slopes. A solid specification that all compliments, this is a loved car in all
respects that has just been lavished with 10 hrs worth of intensive detailing by
myself, the only true way to get familiar.
Key to this C4S is the money that has been spent, neither overlook nor understimate
what these cars need spending on them now at this period. Its vitally important that
the well documented issues with the model at this age have been addressed as they
can cost fortunes to put right. Every effort has been made financially to ensure
this 911 drives and operates as good as it possibly can. The majority of these cars
need this work but rarely get it, to this end its a superb appreciating investment
and one that can be simply enjoyed when the fancy takes you. This examples deserves
a new loving owner who will be sympathetic with respect to driving and storage, its
just too nice to be used a s a daily.

The most recent owner spent over £4,000.00 over the course of the last year future
proofing his car and ironing out many of the well documented issues that arise with
the model and cars of this age and mileage. As such this is a safer proposition than one
with half the mileage, with all the work waiting to rear its head. The aim was to make it
as near perfect as possible. Over 3k of this expense was as a consequence of a thorough
check-over by Ramus Porscha, when he first bought it, and having all items attended to
that their check revealed. Some of this were big jobs but was otherwise an accumulation
of small parts that had perished, or were missing (full documentation available in file
see list of this below).

The previous owner had the uprated IMS bearing replaced, along with the rear main seal,
clutch kit and clutch slave cylinder all of which is documented at 102k. Also the wheels
have been refurbished in 2016 and refitted with new bolts and tyres (N-rated Continental
Sport Contact 2), since which it has done less than 2,600 miles.

The Driver's Manual is in its original leather pouch, together with the service book
and sat nav disc. The service book has 10 service stamps, from 2005 to 2017. All old MOT
certificates are present, together with a plethora of various invoices detailing a
truly massive spend.

Currently this car shows 106,000 miles and has no outstanding issues
and all systems are working correctly. Its a total pleasure to view,
and to drive its a rather more focused and cohesive experience to the
standard 911. All brakes and tyres in excellent condition. The addition
of PSE transforms this car, its savage with a snarl when you want it to
be and civilized when you dont, prompted simply by the push of a button.
The wider rear tyres and wheel spacers give the rear end a very butch
appearance, on the road from the rear it looks incredible.

The coachwork is superb with minimal marks, little in any way that
belies its age. Everything is in working order as Porsche intended,
looking after the vehicle was not a chore to the owners, this car
has been pampered. The coachwork presents remarkably well with clean
paintwork and level panels that are free from damage. Dare I say
virtually no improvement could be made cosmetically to this one.
The interior leather was professionally reconditioned a couple of months
ago, including the centre console and the door cards to a very high standard,
and as such now presents like new again. Recent replacement of the
over-mats front to rear - genuine Porsche kit at cost of £160.

In the real world the C4S is all the 911 anyone will ever need and
is much sought after by enthusiasts, in setting other exotics aside
it can also be argued the most enjoyable car of the 996 series.
The C4S is also among the few select Porsche models appreciating
steadily, however that value is often diminished on a car whose
maintenance has been less than thorough. Buy a good one now while
they are still affordable.

At the last MOT it was advised that there was a slight oil leak, this
is not the case, this was merely residue of a leak from the past that
has now been cleaned off. Also, there was mention of corrosion to back
boxes, again, not founded, welcome to inspect yourself. Over zealous tester.
I have owned more than a few C4S cars and this is the best one by a country
mile, I am a long term 996 Turbo owner and this car is as good as my own.
You get what you pay for. For those of you who may think its a high asking price
for the miles you really do have to consider A. the condition and B. the
amount that has been spent which translates into money you will not need
to spend. By all means buy a 60k example for 24k and have to spend another
5k on it to maybe, just maybe, get close to the condition of this one.
