Investment Car
Brand New Roof
Alloys Mint

This a matching numbers car with all original factory panels and has never been
involved in any accidents or mishaps, for the asking price this represents serious
value for money for what is easily the sharpest early 986 I have ever owned, it
will be hard to replicate. You could spend double the money and not get as
sorted a driving Porsche. Nice low mileage with a superb 15 stamp history
from Porsche dealer and qualified specialists, the car looks and drives like
a low miles example, the paint is really sharp with no concerns and the
leathers look barely sat in, a car can age in many ways.

As suggested above, this is a very special example with superior condition.
I have owned scores of Boxsters and know them well, I cannot recall owning a
better driving car, or one with a better stamped service booklet. The
condition of the paint wheels leathers and roof are as good as it gets.
If you seek the best you can find for the money then this is it.

First registered and pre delivery inspected by Lancaster Bow of London on
10.05.2001. Only 2 previous owners who have taken the ownership and servicing
of the car very seriously.

The combination of specification - Blue with Blue roof and Blue leathers is
a winner, the cabin is in excellent condition. The factory alloys are mint
having been just last week professionaly restored. As mentioned the roof
was replaced just 4 weeks ago with an updated rear glass screen part at a
cost of £650 with receipt, this together with a pro wheel refurb amounts
to to £1000 just spent on cosmetics.

Peace Of Mind - Service History - 15 Stamps + 12 Supplementary Stamps
This has been extremely well looked after and is beyond question or reproach.
I have over the years had the pleasure of owning many of these models and
this example is as strong a car as any with a fully stamped service booklet
detailing 15 engine services. At the most recent MOT it was noted that as an
advise that both front brake pipes either side had some wear but not significant
enough to fail, one side has been replaced and the other side upon inspection
by the servicing garage was not at a stage where it actually needed replacing
with plenty life left.
The owner had bought pipes for both sides and relaced the passenger side
ones, the drivers side pipes are pictured in the boot ready to be fitted at
a later date. There was also mention of a fuel pipe having some corrosion,
again this was unfounded upon inspection, over zealousness on the part of
the MOT station.
The first 7 of the 15 engine services were carried out at Porsche dealer,
the remaining 8 were done at a recognized specialist garage who specialize
in RoLls Royce Jaguar and BMW and as such are very competent.

The Boxster 3.2 S
The Boxster became the yardstick by which all other sports cars were judged,
including Porsche’s own 911. It blends thrilling performance and excellent
road holding with surprising practicality (the Boxster effectively has two boots)
and impressive build quality. Mechanically superb and fully tried and tested,
with a smooth quiet engine, no areas of concern. The 3.2 S being one of the
most vocal units in Porsches range, beyond 4500 rpm it is a superb howl.
Handling is as exemplary as expected from a Porsche that boasts near perfect
weight distribution. The depth of engineering is instantly apparent not to
mention enormously confidence inspiring. The hood drops electrically in a
matter of moments, the optional wind deflector kit a must, at 75 mph with
the top down and the windows up the cockpit is almost wind free, remarkable..

Alloys/Tyres
The 17" rims set the appearance of the car off nicely and the model handles
and rides best with these size of rims with no harsh ride compromise. Premium
Continental tyres all round. The alloys were refinished last month and are in
flawless condition with new bolts being fitted.

Summary
The majority of the 986 Boxster's cars are starting to look quite rough
round the edges and for those of you who may have travelled to view the
" mint example " that subsequently and predictably turns out to be not quite
as described - this could well be the car for you. A loved car, that is clear
from the first glance, and very genuine. Maintained extremely well and no
expense has been spared. Call me for a chat and I will cover any questions
you have.
