2003 PORSCHE BOXSTER 3.2 S MANUAL (260) 986 RHD FACELIFT FINAL EDITION High Specification - Fantastic Condition Excellent Service History 50 + HD Images available on website This a matching numbers car with all original factory panels and has never been involved in any accidents or mishaps, for the asking price this represents serious value for money for a late model 986 the likes of which will be hard to replicate. You could spend double the money and not get as sorted a driving Porsche. Ignore the miles, the car looks and drives like half of them, the paint is really sharp with no concerns and the leathers look barely sat in, a car can age in many ways. A high specification that both enhance the driving experience and set the look of the car on the road. Chassis : WPOZZZ98X3U644891 Engine : 67309105 Colour : Midnight Blue (metallic paint finish) Cabin : Black leather sports seats Mileage : 114,000 * 18" Genuine Porsche Carrera Classic alloys * Navy Blue hood * Wind deflector * Porsche CDR 23 Hi-Fi * White Instrument dials * Porsche floor mats in Black * Crested headrests * Colour coded tunnel * Small alumnium package The combination of specification, - Blue with Blue roof and Black leathers is a winner, the cabin is in excellent condition. The factory alloys are an optional upgrade from new and set the car apart having been just last week professionaly restored Peace Of Mind - Service History - 7 Stamps This has been extremely well looked after and is beyond question or reproach. I have over the years had the pleasure of owning many of these models and this example is as strong a car as any with a well stamped service booklet detailing 7 engine services 6 from Porsche dealer and one from an independent and an MOT that has just been renewed. Another recent service just 8 weeks is also documented and was a total of £1100. Amongst the paperwork there is also two other services detailed that are not stamped as were not completed by Porsche specialists so as not to compromise the service book. Recent money spent A thick file of bills and a ttoal MOT history encompassing ghe last 13 years of tests. Recent work has included the following. - New n/s/f road spring - New top mount - New rear coffin arms - New CV joint - Several brake pipes replaced - Service (09.01.19) oil, filter, air filter, brake fluid changed - Underside of vehicle waxoyled - 4 wheel geometry - New rear tyres - New lobro joint to drive shaft In 2015 the vehicle had £1479 spent renewing the rear coil springs, radius arms and drop links. It also received a new alternator. The Boxster 3.2 S The Boxster became the yardstick by which all other sports cars were judged, including Porsche’s own 911. It blends thrilling performance and excellent road holding with surprising practicality (the Boxster effectively has two boots) and impressive build quality. Mechanically superb and fully tried and tested, with a smooth quiet engine, no areas of concern. The 3.2 S being one of the most vocal units in Porsches range, beyond 4500 rpm it is a superb howl. Handling is as exemplary as expected from a Porsche that boasts near perfect weight distribution. The depth of engineering is instantly apparent not to mention enormously confidence inspiring. The hood drops electrically in a matter of moments, the optional wind deflector kit a must, at 75 mph with the top down and the windows up the cockpit is almost wind free, remarkable.. Alloys/Tyres The 18 " rims set the appearance of the car off nicely and the model handles and rides well with no harsh ride compromise. Good premium tyres all round, the rear Tyres just recently replaced and the front tyres sitting about 5-6mm. Summary The majority of the 986 Boxster's cars are starting to look quite rough round the edges and for those of you who may have traveled to view the " mint example " that subsequently and predictably turns out to be not quite as described - this could well be the car for you. A loved car, that is clear from the first glance, and very genuine. Maintained extremely well and no expense has been spared. Call me for a chat and I will cover any questions you have.
