PORSCHE CAYENNE 4.5 TURBO AUTO Fantastic Factory Specification Full Service History 53000 Miles The Best I love this car, its supreme in every area, it shows prowess in every driving situation just soaking up the road with a devastating turn of pace when called upon. I bought it 2 months ago to replace my Mercedes everyday driver deluding myself that I could actually warrant the amount of fuel it burns and wear it, I cant. The issue is I do at least 400 miles a week and have added just under 3000 miles to the car in that time. These cars do at best as an average 16- 18mpg, more on a long run and less about the doors. Given I only use Shell V power in turbo charged cars no matter how I slice it, spending in excess of £150 a week on petrol is not sitting well with me, as this is not the only car I have to fuel. But for this detail I would not be parting with it, its virtual stone mint, the paint is stunning, the cabin essentially like new and with such low mileage the drive is so tight and the running gear so responsive. Sadly, one must cut ones cloth to suit ones coat, 25mpg I could live with but its not going to happen. I have owned several GTS models however they do not offer the outright pace or kudos of the Turbo, and only return maybe 1- 2mpg more. Suited to someone doing far less miles than me, it has a 100 litre long range fuel tank. In every respect its in exemplary order and as such worthy of being one of the finest Turbo models available of its era in the marketplace. Aside the condition the specification is very desirable, it will satisfy the highest of standards with incredible detail that can only truly be appreciated in the metal. One of the best used car I have ever seen, give me a call and I can expand on its many attributes, other models get nowhere near this condition so is pointless to compare. History & Servicing - 9 Stamps The history is considerable, never been skimped on and over serviced in recent years. Also, a considerable amount of recent expenditure by me upon purchase as I like everything to be just right, I cant live with niggles as performance cars are my life. It has a folder of documents and a fully stamped service booklet. A summary of some of the issues I have addressed and improved are noted below, I wont be getting my money back but needs must. Most recently serviced inhouse by the last keeper as he ran his own classic car servicing centre, he loved it and stored it indoors when not in use as have I. - Park control module replaced - Oil replaced (though didn't need it, oil that came out was golden) - Facelift rear Porsche badge fitted ( original Turbo badge in glovebox) - All windows professionally tinted - New fuel tank straps and covers fitted to both sides of saddle tank - Electric system condition checked top to toe - Rear wash wipe motor replaced - Heavy duty custom fit rubber mats to sit over carpet mats - New rear boot strut (common issue) - New Pilkington windscreen Currently this car has no outstanding issues and all systems are working correctly, its a total pleasure to view and to drive. I know this car very well having known the previous owner who runs a classic car service centre and can confidently state it has been maintained to a high standard. The engine and gearbox are superb with simply awesome and effortless performance while also cruising in silent luxury, a dual character car. There are no warning lights on the dashboard in my tenure of ownership. The tyres are all Premium Toyos with very good tread having been replaced when I bought the car. There were no advisory items on the recent MOT and this example feels like a good, low mileage example. Any inspection or test drive welcome. Exterior Condition This Cayenne Turbo in Basalt Black with cost option 22 inch wheels, Sport Tailpipes and chromed mirror caps looks awesome and stands out from other examples. The bodywork is in exceptional order for the year and commensurate with a cherished, low mileage example. There are no scuffs to the bumpers, car park dents or other significant marks. There are no large or excess stone chips to the front end. There is no ingrained dirt on the beautiful sports tailpipes. The wheels are in very good order with no ingrained dirt or curbing damage to the outer edges. Underneath the car looks very clean. There is no fading or corrosion to the wheel centres. I have kept it very clean as did the previous keeper who to be fair hardly used it, keeping it stored indoors with a cover on. In the last couple of months I have washed it twice weekly using snow foam and a two stage bucket system to keep swirls to a minimum. In preparation for sale it has a total degrease with tar and glue and an overnight coating of Auto Glym HD, this being the third intensive waxing its had in my tenure. Interior Condition The Cayenne Turbo interior is very high quality, comfortable environment. The interior is also commensurate with a well maintained low mileage example. This example has never been smoked in or used to carry pets and there are certainly no lingering smells. There is no damage or wear to any of the leather with the rear seats hardly used. The drivers seat has no scuffing to the base or bolster. The carpets and over carpets are very clean with no heel wear. There is no wear or damage to any of the buttons, all in working order. The leather has been cleaned just last weekend with Glyptons leather cleaner though no dirt came out and fed with with conditioning cream. All glass polished and sealed as have the alloys. This is currently the lowest mileage Gen 1 Cayenne Turbo for sale and in this condition with desirable specification makes an excellent value purchase. Values for these cars are holding strong and have stopped depreciating. With a private number plate added only the keen eyed will date the car to be up to a 2009 model given this is when the 955 production ceased. To the casual non expert observer it just looks like a 50k Porsche Jeep especially with the updated badge which replaces the old script on the rear which makes it look dated. Drive It It sounds awesome. Hit the Sports button sharpening up the throttle responses and shifting the PASM dampers and it offers power no SUV has the right to make. It's fast, doing 0-60mph in 5.0 seconds and hitting 165mph. But it's the way it corners and handles that is most impressive - you forget you are in a big, bulky 2.5 tonne SUV. The most fun you can have in any SUV. Overtaking is it ace card, it just mullers virtually everything on the road, and murders straights, intoxicating in any language. I am a long term 911 Turbo owner driver and this car will have it off the take and will be well into three figures before the 911 over takes. I want good money for it, as cars like this rarely come around, if I don't get what I want I will just keep it and use it less. Happily accept a part exchange possibly something that I can use as an everyday driver with a guaranteed in excess of 22 mpg average.
