If Ford ever made a car which could turn heads, this is it! Everything about the Escort Cosworth grabs
attention, the large bumpers and extended wheel arches to the hugely recognisable bonnet vents and
of course that amazing Whaletail Spoiler!
However, if the standard Escort Cosworth is not enough for you, the Monte Carlo edition certainly is!

The Monte Carlo edition was built to commemorate Fords success in the 1993-1994 Monte Carlo
rallies, the Monte Carlo special edition even featured wheels just like those on the legendary WRC
cars. Only 200 ‘Montes’ were built for the world market. Out of these only 70 were built in
right-hand-drive for the UK market. The ‘Monte’ was available in only 3 colours – Ash Black, Mallard
Green and Jewel Violet and each has Motorsport cloth seats as standard.

This example is Mallard Green and is a big turbo car with only 45000 miles from new. It has been
dry stored much of it's life and has also spent some time abroad in Malaysia, returning to the UK in
2010. A barn (garage) find, it has done literally 50 miles since arriving back in the UK 7 years ago.
It was used for the first 4years of its life and it has been stored ever since.

Condition is superb and highly original. This is an unmodifed car. Some storage marks and age
related marks but this is a 45000 mile car and the condition reflects this. There is no service history.
It does have some import papers and an old mot from 2010 and the logbook V5. This is all, perhaps
a history could be traced. It was used for only the first 4years of it's life then stored so there is not
actualy that much history missing (a few service stamps and a single Mot from 1998 is all there
could ever be anyway).

It will require Mot, service, belts, probably also need tyres a tune and geometry set up and is
priced accordingly.
