First registered 30.09.1989 by Dingle Mercedes in Gwynedd this
now incredibly rare 300 GD model SWB has just returned from a
two year total nut & bolt restoration at a cost of £73000.
Coming direct from an impressive bespoke collection. The
condition in out & underside is as new. Finished in chic Porsche
Fashion Grey, the paintwork is needless to say absolutely
flawless, be sure to use the link to the many documented images
of the restoration. Since restoration its never seen a public
road as the owner is too protective of it. Essentially, its
better than split new.
The interior, carpets & headlining and rear load area all as
new. The whole underside presents as new and in truth is too
nice to be using in anything other than perfect weather/road
conditions, an absolute work of art.
Geländewagen
Developed as a military vehicle from a suggestion by the Shah of
Iran then being offered as a civilian version in 1979. The
G-Class is still in production and is one of the longest
produced Mercedes-Benz vehicles in their history with a span of
over forty-six years. The W463-era G-Wagen was released in 1990,
with the intention of raising the comfort standards with eyes
fixed on the contemporary Range Rover market. The 463 model is
arguably the sweet spot, with any temptation on this car to
alter anything being resisted, the original styling and everyday
usability is intact.
