P Zero Pirellis
Two Enthusiast Keepers
A1 Driver

Chassis no : SAJJPALG3CH872944

First registered and pre delivery inspected by Avalon Jaguar in Wolverhampton
on the 1st October 1999 to a Mr Evans of Walsall. He owned the car for the
first 4 years until when it was traded back to the dealer and sold as part
of the approved used Jaguar programme by Taggarts Jaguar in Maryhill Rd to
a Mrs Mculloch - a pub Landlady who owned the Coach House in Gargunnock just
outside Stirling. The Lady never owned it long, just 14 months when it was
sold to its third and last keeper on 23.03.2004, a Mr Murray who was an employee
of Pentland Jaguar, he has owned it for the last 15 years. As such the vehicle
has been extremely well maintained by a Jag enthusiast and a cut above your
average 20 year old Jag, it looks and drives like a 5 year old car, say no more.

Cats are beautiful, and fast. A cat flows like dark liquid in moonlight,
and so do the lines of a Jaguar XJ. You can buy other luxury sedans
with similar performance, but you won't find another that looks anything
like this. And that, really, is the point of any Jaguar. If you are charmed
by its looks, then there is no alternative.

The X308
The final edition of the true Jags was the X308 model with a new shallower
grille bumpers incorporating oval front indicators & side reflectors with
1/4 chrome trims instead of the full width ones, as well as revised clear
indicator rear light clusters and the fitting of revised headlamps with
clear lenses and optic reflectors. The last of the true Jags.

The way the automatic gearbox slurs through the ratios both going up and
down the cogs is also quite delightful. Although the cars emphasis is still
slightly softer than a BMW 7 Series, the Jag Sport does not pitch and wallow
through corners, the weight of that V8 engine marshaled far more effectively.
Driving the XJ along twisty roads is wonderful. The steering is very precise
and provides good feel at speed. At the same time, the steering remains light
to the touch at low speeds, making driving around town and in parking
lots a bit easier. Handling is firm without being too harsh.

Examples such as this come along rarely. I am delighted to offer this traditional
style Jaguar, it is one of the sweetest Jags I have seen in rather a long time.
Jaguar's XJ makes a statement when it rolls onto the scene, it arrives. It remains
one of the prettiest cars on the road and driving it is a satisfying experience.
Its reliable, well built and great fun to drive. Oh and it was built in Britain.
