Edition ‘ 1 of 20 examples built for BMW GB BMW Press Car First Registered - 24.02.1989 Registration No - F752 UCF Chassis No - 0760472 Engine No - 60434480 1 of 20 Limited Edition cars built for BMW GB in 1989. This model was known as the Motorsport Edition. This is a remarkable vehicle ready for the discerning enthusiast or collector. Just 524 right-hand-drive examples of the E24 M635 CSi were built between 1985 and 1989, to find this special edition model makes for a very rare BMW M car. The investment potential is massive, given its limited edition status its a vehicle that could double or treble in a 10 year ownership, I have seen it happen before with lesser models. With so few cars produced owning an M635 CSi or Highline edition is rare enough, however BMW of Great Britain offered an even rarer special edition M635 CSi, labeled the ‘Motorsport Edition’. Just 20 cars were consecutively produced from 18/10/1988 to 24/01/1989. These cars were equipped with all the standard features of the M635 Highline model plus the Shadowline exterior trim and M-labels on the seats. Built in three special colour and trim combinations, this is Nogaro silver (243) with black Nappa highline upholstery. The Motorsport Edition was rumoured to have a slight increase in BHP to 292bhp and slightly firmer suspension. Shadowline exterior trim, Electric sunroof, Highline equipment, Rear-seat head restraints, Tri-colour M-sport labels, Graduated tinted screen, Memory electric seats, Air conditioning, Electric mirrors, Headlight wipers, Rear spoiler, Leather trimmed steering wheel, rear window blind. The interior includes hand-stitched Nappa leather on the seats, door panels, center console, glove box, roof lining, sun visors, door pillars, upper door trim, and dashboard. This car has a fine patina about it and is unrestored conditon, as such it retains an originality that a restored car will never have. It drives just wonderfully on new balanced and tracked premium tyres, everything is working in harmony, all the switchgear and operating systems are go. In fine order in every respect this vehicle is offered for sale complete with a large file of service history and past bills for work carried out including the replacement of the cam-chain tensioner at 100,000 miles, many old MOT certificates and historic bills. Do your research and you will find that this is the specific chassis number for this limited model. This is a vehicle that you must come and look at it to appreciate, its a sensation for the serious enthusiast or collector.
