The history file for this vehicle is simply overwhelmingly large with everything from old photos and details of the conversions, drawings, old tax discs and masses of paperwork. The mileage stands at 113,000 and this is backed up by MoT's and service history. Running a 3.9 Rover V8 engine which was fitted brand new less than 30,000 miles ago in 1998 and it has a 4 speed manual with overdrive in 3rd and 4th. It runs very well indeed and is easy enough to drive in modern traffic. It has 12 months MoT and the only advises were for pitted brake discs. This is more or less corrosion free and it has a stunning patina throughout. This will drive literally almost anywhere and you can spend the night when you get there. It is fully kitted out as follows: Motorhome specification Seating and table Kitchen sink Gas hob with 2 rings Gas grill Oven Propex night heater Water tank Toilet Beds Curtains Gas bottles Kitted out ready to use with all brand unused new items as follows Duvets Pillows Cutlery Crockery Kitchen and cooking utensils Pots and pans Mugs and glasses BBQ All is great order and can be used right away, snacks included! Condition is very good all round, there is no corrosion on the body and no real marks anywhere. It has nice bright glass work and clean paint with patina - this would machine polish out but it looks better this way. A matching set of premium Michelin tyres adorn original alloys with lots of tread. The cabin is fresh and clean with no smells or damp. All is in working order. Every useable item within the cabin has been replaced with brand new (April 2018), cutlery, crockery, glasses, kitchenware, duvets and pillows etc. everything is new and still has labels. The versatile cabin can function as a lounge, kitchen and bedroom, it has independent heating and curtains, a toilet, lots of storage and many other handy features. Below are some notes passed on from the current keeper: "In August 1998 a NEW 3.9 factory short engine was fitted. This was done at 85,290 miles and the clocks were not reset. At the same time the following was carried out: Recon unleaded heads, valves, springs, guides, seats, oil pump, late model timing cover, front engine seal. Distributer converted to late model drive, new capacitor, new plugs and leads, timing reset etc. Competition head gaskets, inlet manifold, heavy duty rocker cover gaskets new. New exhaust manifold. Replacement flywheel, clutch, cover end plate, clutch release, spigot bush, oil pressure switch, sensor, engine mounts. Carbs reset and new vacuum pipe fitted. Not a complete list of work done at this stage! At the end of 2006 it was fitted with a new gearbox and clutch kit at 100,575 miles. The most recent body refurb was at the end of 2012, a full body and underside care package was carried out. The vehicle was subject to a full respray, new front wings and inner wings inc. headlamp boxes, shotblast chassis, paint chassis and waxoyl. As you can see from the history, the current owner has not spared any time or money keeping this in working condition with countless visits to the local garage every year and despite its low use, annual pre and post winter checks" Other Info V5 Registration document MoT April 2019 Tax exempt Owners manual Huge history file Bunch of keys Spare & tools Fully stocked with nearly all you need £21,995 |
