A Special Audi S4


The S4's compact executive body subtly underplays its remarkable performance
potential. A compact 4.2-litre eight-cylinder powerhouse that delivers a peak
output of 340bhp along with 302lb ft of torque. However its far from just being
a one-dimensional car, its trump card for me is its adaptability, its seats four,
its fully loaded, supremely comfortable, it has a boot and of course drop the
top when the sun shines. Thanks to the mid sports not Powerflow exhaust it
sounds utterly fantastic just poodling about, and when the weather turns foul its
has tractional qualities that are truly inspiring for a driver. The automatic is a
great car, however the manual with an exhaust brings the vehicle to life, and the
noise from the exhaust is just right, I am not a fan of overly loud exhausts.

Service History & Maintenance
The service book is well stamped with 7 engine services detailed however the car
has received lots more attention than that. All the previous MOTs are present
confirming the modest mileage it has covered and this is among a thick wad of
receipts dating back to when the car was only a few years old, rather a good

Summary
A genuine unique looking car that looks magnificent, smooth, rapid, stylish and
luxurious all set to a glorious V8 soundtrack. The S4 is a car that makes sense
in such a wet country as ours. With all wheel-drive traction and a whole raft of
electronic safety measures, its effortlessly secure, a combination of big power,
damp roads and an enthusiastic approach wont phase it at all.

Note : This a pre 2006 car which means it does not attract
the higher road tax rate, capped at £290 for the year.
