Speedster
Lovely Porsche Speedster 356 body Beetle with lots of recent
works. Based upon a 1972 VW Bug, this is a well built and well
specified Speedster Clinic fibreglass body upon a shortened
chassis with a 1300cc AB engine. Complete with a removeable hard
top for convertible fun. Excellent replica with Porsche wheels
and badges, it looks very similar to the real thing.
Condition is good, for the sake of some storage marks/chips in
the paint that a polish and touch up paint would most likely
resolve, some paint chips on the roof and front and rear bumpers
as pictured. The cabin is well finished with carpet and padded
vinyl, Mazda MX5 chairs and instruments. The engine bay is a
delight, very clean and fresh with many new components on
display, and the frunk is well finished, with a new fuel tank
and battery and all components are of recent fresh appearance.
It starts and runs but has not been in use for some time, it
would ideally need a going over before being used on the road
and considered reliable transport. MoT and tax exempt now.
The vehicle has covered only 165 miles since being built.
