Effortless pace and hushed refinement that see this model chosen on merit
before the question of running costs has even been considered. The stunning
torque that's pumped out of Audi's 6.0 W12 gives the A8 fierce performance
but progress is never less that beautifully controlled by the advanced
quattro all-wheel-drive transmission and the adaptive air suspension.
Costing a good bit more than the V8 however the qualities of this remarkable
engine go a long way to justifying those premiums. As a candidate for best
used value large saloon car in the world, it's tough to think of anything
that can top the big quattro. It is a car with no Achilles heel, and the whole
process is so silky smooth and almost inaudible. Everything about the car
contributes to a driving experience of confidence and quietude, from the
smooth-purring engine, to the crisp but silky transmission, to a supple but
composed ride. When the weather turns foul its all-wheel-drive system puts

Service Information
This car has been very well looked after in all respect with 5 services having
taken place. The vehicle belonged to a company director and whatever needed
spending was, the car being indulged as and when required, however these engines
rarely go wrong such is the depth of engineering, and this is the engine used
in the Bentley.

Condition
To be found in absolutely superb condition for any used car to be in. Little
requiring any comment and even less in the way of disappointment, considering
the modest Audi mileage the cabin remains completely untouched such are the
durability of the superior materials used in the build process. In full working
order throughout. The deep lustre to the leather is very apparent, its well
fed and smells fresh inside. The boot is very clean, the alloys are very nice.
The paint has a deep wet look glossy finish and it stands out on road with
real presence. There are no warning lights on or indeed anything that requires
to be improved upon.

Summary
For me the car is all about the massive technological tour de force that is its
engine, chassis and electronic control systems, the Audi's quality is plainly
evident. The W12's pulling power is just relentless. Aluminium construction
results in a number of allied benefits. Relatively low fuel consumption and
emissions are the key advantages of low weight and handling is another. Quattro
four-wheel drive offers all sorts of foul weather grip advantages that are quite
beyond the Audi's rivals.
