  The XJS Sport
The iconic luxury grand tourer that requires no introduction, a British
GT of unique style and character, and for those who adore them still one
of the world’s greatest cars, very few vehicles have a sense of arrival as
Browns lane finest. Its not just style it oozes, compared to modern day
GTs the XJ-S ride is as comfortable as your favourite easy chair, almost
unequalled. The XJ-S is now a fixture on the classic scene though finding
a good one can take time, however if you stumble upon it, grab it, and
you’ll have an extraordinary machine that will oblige you with long
distance refinement and silky performance. The longest serving Jaguar of
them all, still serving.

History
Fist registered by Loxleys Jaguar in Kent on the 1st Jan 94. Specced
in arguably the finest combination of Kingfisher Blue metallic, with
biscuit leather and Walnut veneer fascia. The 4-litre in later 240bhp
form is easily the best for many reasons as servicing is not complicated
at all, I personally drove this vehicle 100 miles and it was memorable
and faultless. The servicing is very impressive with 17 stamped entries
plus a box file crammed with literature and historic maintenance.

Chassis no : sajjnaed3ej191630
Engine no : 9epcna187464

Complete with a very well organised service file with extensive documentation showing meticulous care throughout the cars life, this includes the original service book with the following service stamps noted (opposite).

Recent major service with new battery, alternator, distributor cap, heater valve and Front brake callipers plus new front discs.
Having being in dry storage during for a period has now been fully recommissioned  with new fluids and has a clean Mot, until January 18th 2025 together with original folders, handbooks and spare keys.

Condition
The bodywork is in fine condition for a car of this age and better than
any other one I have seen of late, it stops people in their tracks. There
is no disappointment and the condition has to be seen to be believed.
All chrome is glistening, the interior is well preserved with next to no
wear. The boot is immaculate, as is the engine bay, and all carpets
are clean and bone dry. The woodwork is all perfect and everything works
exactly as it should.

Cabin
The interior is a wonderful place to be, totally silent and cosseting the
occupants whilst the vehicle goes about it's business in the most unobtrusive manner, every journey seems too short! Period specification to include leather upholstery, fully electric seats, climate control air conditioning, Alpine stereo, central locking, electric windows & mirrors, fog lamps, 16 inch style lattice alloys with excellent Pirelli tyres all round, original carpet mats. The original tool kit is all present and correct. No
modifications at all and as it rolled out the factory which makes it
all the sweeter. Space saver factory wheel plus a lovely a Jaguar toolkit.

The Final Edition
This is the final incarnation of the XJS that ran 21 year model line, and
some may argue the best looking of all. This late car received a new 4.0
litre version of the AJ6 engine which really has a broad range of flexible
power. At the same time, the car benefitted from a revision to the rear
brakes; they were now fitted with outboard rear disc brakes, instead of
the more complicated inboard items on previous models. It also received a
more aerodynamic front and rear bumpers. The rear side windows appeared
enlarged and the buttresses stayed, although their appearance was minimised by the new side window treatment, further enhancing the car's character.

Summary
Truly impressive condition and one should always buy on condition. The
car has been owned by the one gentleman for the last 22 years and he
was a dedicated Jaguar man of the old school brigade who cherished it.
Stored away from the elements it even has its own blanket for the engine,
prior to this he had a beautiful Mk 2 Jaguar, to say the car was his obsession
would be an understatement and the condition is today to be marvelled at.
